When excavating clayey soil layers, a slurry mixture consisting of water or a thin layer of bentonite clay is used. However, this alone is insufficient, as clayey soil can adhere to the machine chamber and conveyor, potentially causing blockages and hindering the smooth removal of soil and sludge.
SP-HP is a liquid additive developed to reduce the adhesion of cohesive soils. It can be used simply by dissolving SP-HP in water.
